USS Gateway - Requirements

USS Gateway is based on the Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Linux operating system.
Minimum requirements
- x86-64-bit CPU-based physical or virtual machine *
- 8GB RAM
- 80GB storage space
- One Ethernet network interface
- 2 CPU (4 cores)
- Direct access to ports
80and443, or ports1344and1345, is required from the Gateway device
* VMware (with VMware Tools installed), VirtualBox, XenServer, Hyper-V (with Integration Services installed)
Suggested specification:
- 16 GB RAM
- 120GB storage space, SSD and RAID
- 4 CPU (8 CPU cores)
The specification required can vary depending on numbers of users, amount of bandwidth and the type of scanning that the gateway is performing. Add-on's such as anti-malware and image analysis will require additional resource.
